| The eyes of the Lord
are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to
their cries. |

Purpose Statement: to unite members and friends of
the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity together in a partnership
committed to intercede in prayer on the behalf of our Fraternity.
ATO was founded by men of faith at the VMI institute in
1865. As our second founder, Joseph R. Anderson, said, "Brothers
beloved, it was as God's great instrument that our revered
Founder wrought out his sublime conception and called into
being the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. Being that ATO
was designed to be an instrument of God to bring healing
to a severed nation, we have the great opportunity and responsibility
to pray that God would continue to work through our fraternity
to promote love and reconciliation to a nation that continues
to live in strife and segregation. It is our conviction that
there is great power and substance in the united prayers
of God's people. As James 5:16 says, "The prayer of
a righteous man is powerful and effective." And as King
David expresses in the verse above, God's eyes and ears are
turned toward the righteous to answer their prayers.
If you would like to be a prayer partner through the ATO
Prayer Web and receive more details about this program -
please click on the sign up button below. Shortly after you
sign up to be a member of the prayer web, you will receive
an introductory letter and your first update. You will then
be put on our prayer-web list-serve by which you will receive
updates of prayer requests and praises pertaining to ATO.
This service will keep you up-to-date on important situations
that need specific prayer and will serve as a guide to help
you pray. Once you become a prayer partner through the ATO
Prayer Web, you will be able to send in requests and praises
that may be included in following updates. However, because
we are not a ministry, the focus of this program will remain
geared toward increasing our brotherhood by bringing ATOs
and their friends around the country together to specifically
pray for things relating to ATO. If you choose to sign up,
rest assured that you will not get bombarded with a large
number of e-mails as is a consequence of some other list-serves.
