The Expansion process is started by one of four ways:
- National Fraternity
- Undergratuate Interest
- Alumni
- University

Survey Potential School
It is necessary to have adequate information on a prospective
school to better understand the likelihood of ATO having
the ability not only to survive but also prosper. This
will be done by the Director of Expansion with such results
being presented to the expansion team for review and consideration.
Target Schools
Based on:
- School classification
- Size
- Student background
- University support
- Greek system:
- Size
- Current Greek organizations
- Age of the system
- Stability
- Quality
Alumni Support
- Quality of alumni
- Quantity of alumni
- Area alumni
- Board of trustees prospects
Send an Expansion Information Packet to the Greek Advisor
Contact Greek Advisor
- Answer questions
- Talk about timeline
- Set-up initial meeting
Target Alumni
- Send out mailings
- Host an informational meeting to create a board of
trustees
Expansion Department Consideration and Decision
Presentation to University Expansion Committee (if applicable)
Undergraduate Interest in Expansion (Local or Interest
Group)
Send Expansion Information Packet to the interested student(s)
Send Expansion Information Packet to the Greek Advisor

- Talk about the existing group
