Last semester, we started a community service project called cell phones for soldiers. This semester we really got the ball rolling on this project. We have already collected over 50 cell phones to date. Just this week, we set up tablesitting every day from 10am to 1pm in the campus center to help raise awareness about our project. One of the brothers, Steve O, made a box that we were able to bring with us to the tablesitting, so that students could bring their old cell phones they didn't want anymore. Next week, we will be going to each of the other fraternities on campus to collect more cell phones. Helping raise money for the soldiers defending our country is a good cause, and I think we've really started something great here with cell phones for soldiers.
