Altitude: "Tough...but It's Definitely Worth It."

"It's a tough trip, but it's definitely worth it," said Jim Doyle, Oregon State '10, after a week-long excursion into the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with several ATO brothers. "The guys help you push yourself past your limits, and you come out a better man for it."

Altitude is a servant leadership retreat aimed at preparing undergraduate members to be catalysts for positive change in their respective chapters. Whitewater rafting, rock climbing, repelling and high-altitude hiking await participants as they learn what it takes to be a servant leader and discuss some of the deeper issues of life pertaining to faith and values.

There are two sessions offered this Summer:

  • June 8-17 (Closed)
  • August 10-19
Participation for Altitude 2012 costs $350 ($250 if you travel to Denver on your own) — this includes travel with hotel room to Colorado from Indianapolis, equipment needed for hiking and rock climbing, and all food except while traveling. With the June trip already full, don't miss your opportunity to adventure in the Rockies!

For more information on the program contact Bobby Grangier at altitude@ato.org or 317-684-1865 ext. 112. You can register now by visiting the Altitude Registration Form available on ato.org.
