ATO Charters at West Chester University

On Jan. 28, the National Fraternity initiated 63 men at the installation of the Kappa Chi chapter at West Chester University in West Chester, PA.

Kappa Chi colonized Oct. 31, 2015. The colony recorded a cumulative 3.16 GPA and was actively involved on campus.

“Words can't describe how I'm feeling right now,” said Archie McDade, West Chester ’17. “The amount of work we've put in as a colony to get that charter and finally hold it in your hands is a surreal feeling."

"I'm proud of the men that they are and how they are beginning to elevate our community," added Susan Mathieson, WCU Assistant Director of Fraternity/Sorority Life. "These men truly don't accept mediocrity and have already pushed themselves and their community members to do better and be better."

The chapter now has its sights set high for the future.

“We want to become the most prominent fraternity on campus philanthropically, socially and in the classroom,” said chapter president Brian Eichhorn, West Chester '17. “We have come such a long way already, but we are only getting started."
